今天一整天算是东京最好的天气了。天上一点儿云块都没有，所谓秋高气爽者是也。
今天下午读完了法节也夫的《坏灭》。法氏的笔调很生动，描写心理尤能精细入微。在艺术的手腕上，他比李别金斯基高明得多了。《一周间》还有许多幼稚的地方，《坏灭》则令我们感觉得它的作者是一个很成熟的老匠了。
已经夜一点多钟了，然而因为不能耐“辗转反侧”之苦，又爬起身来写这两行字。现在我坐着远听火车的声响，近听院内秋虫的叫鸣……我的一颗心茫然……茫然……
