独幕话剧。田汉著。原载《南国半月刊》第5期(1928年)。上海现代书局1931年4月出版。主要内容是一个叫杨梦梅的诗人与一个叫素萍的小姐自由相爱,却遭到素萍父亲的反对。素萍为了反抗封建包办婚姻,逃出家门跳湖自尽。但她又被人救起活了下来，之后她隐名埋姓,改叫白薇,幽居在西湖边上，三年后杨梦梅来到这个素称闹鬼的湖上别墅，他以为素萍已死，所以正在写记录这爱情悲剧的小说，白薇读完梦梅三年来为她写的这部小说，然后再次自尽。
