民国词人乔大壮被喻为＂词坛飞将＂,其词受生平遭际及性情气质影响颇大。早期所作,以深婉密丽、闲雅多致的风格为主;中年以后,国事飘摇、家庭多故,词作多幽咽吞吐、沉郁蕴藉之音。而因其孤高狷介、至情至性的精神气质,其词又呈现出气格高华、沉郁深幽的特质。词风与北宋晏几道、秦观、贺铸为近,是典型的词心之作,在民国词坛具有独特价值。
