蔡嵩云撰。共四十八则，多论词之作法，见解通达。如云词在宋代，早分为音律家之词和文学家之词，“音律家声文并茂之作，固可传世;文学家专重辞章之作，又何尝不可传世”。因此，“初学不必守四声”。又云“意贵清新，境贵曲折”。复论词人词作云：东坡词“其阔大处，不在能作豪放语，而在其襟怀有涵盖一切气象”，其小令，“清丽纡徐，雅人深致，另辟一境”，皆为有得之论。是书附录于作者所著《柯亭词》后，《词话丛编》据以辑入。
