元杂剧剧本。“晋陶母”又作“陶贤母”或“陶母”。简名《剪发待宾》。秦简夫撰。旦本。写晋代陶侃对母亲十分孝顺，他的母亲也以信义严格要求他发奋上进。一次来了客人，因家里贫困，无钱购物招待。陶母就剪掉自己的头发卖钱待宾，给儿子作了榜样。后来陶侃果然成名。这部戏，比较多地宣扬了封建的义夫节妇，孝子贤孙等伦理道德。
