中国古代长篇抒情诗。原收于《楚辞》。战国时宋玉所作。宋玉(生卒年不详),战国时楚国郢都(今湖北江陵)人。出身寒微,曾为楚顷襄王小臣,终生怀才不遇。东汉王逸言其为屈原弟子,无确证。但其辞赋创作显然是受屈原影响,其作品继承了屈原作品的某些语言、体制特点。《汉书·艺文志》载宋玉有辞赋16篇,《隋书·经籍志》有《宋玉集》3卷。但现存署名宋玉的作品,多数为后人伪托之作,《九辩》是唯一的一篇可以确信为宋玉作品的诗。
