词话。清人焦循(1763—1820)撰。一卷。 循氏有《剧说》已著录。 此编录词话十三则。 焦为学界名家, 于词亦时有灼见。“词律任意断句”条谓:“词不难于长调,而难于长句。词不难于短令,而难于短句。”焦循为当时有名的经学大师,其论词也以有益于经学为主。例如,他重视人的性情感发,而性情之中的“柔气”,就可以通过词曲来表达分泄,这样的话,“则使清纯之气,长流行于诗、古文”。他认为研究经学须深思默会,有时抑塞沉困,机不可转,诗词便可以“移其情而豁其趣”。
