诗话著作。近人胡怀琛辑。胡怀琛(1881—1938)，字寄尘，泾县(今属安徽)人。诸生。南社社员。有《大江集》。《海天诗话》一卷，专辑欧西、东瀛诗之译作，隶以国人诗之记海外事者，颇反映出清末民初中西文学交流之况。其中亦论及诗的翻译问题，如曰：“欧西之诗，设思措词，别是一境。译而求之，失其神矣。然能文者，撷取其意，锻炼而出之，使合于吾诗范围，亦吟坛之创格，而诗学之别裁也。”区分译诗与原作之离合关系，颇为有识。有广益书局《古今文艺丛书》本。
