清陈锐撰。计四十二则，以评论宋代与近代词人为主，然着眼于填词作法、四声、音韵等。如云：“周美成《西平乐》一首，和者方千里、杨泽民、陈西麓，三家句法长短互异，万红友、杜筱舫诸家，亦不能考定。尝疑此调下段十五句，只三用韵，未免先拍。”后读吴文英词，始悟周邦彦之过换处互协。又如云：“上三下五八字句，惟屯田独擅，继之者美成而已。”所论颇有见地。故郑文焯致书作者云：“前诵《袌碧斋词话》，感君真知，实异世上之延誉增重者”。是书收于作者所著《袌碧斋集》中，唐圭璋《词话丛编》据以收入。
