诗论专著。卷数不详。宋蔡宽夫撰。成书年代不详。蔡宽夫,生卒年不详。宋代有二,一名居厚,字宽夫,进士及第,累官至吏部员外郎，一名启,字宽夫,历任检点试卷官、太学博士侍郎。《诗话》撰者是谁,待考。清人朱绪曾《开有益斋读书志》断为蔡启著，今人郭绍虞《宋诗话考》则定为蔡居厚著。原书已佚,郭绍虞自《苕溪渔隐丛话》等书中辑出87则,编入《宋诗话辑佚》。《蔡宽夫诗话》今存八十七条,多品评诗人诗作,兼及遗闻轶事、声律音乐、典章制度、风土习俗等,其中不少精辟见解为后人称引。如论诗力主“天然自在”、“语意自到”,反对用事过多,劳心苦吟,说:“天下事有意为之,辄不能尽妙,而文章尤然。
