一名《怀麓堂诗话》。诗论。明李东阳(1447—1516)撰。一卷。东阳有《怀麓堂集》已著录。此编论诗,推重盛唐,极赞李白、杜甫。理论上反对“句句字字,摹仿而不敢失”的泥古之风,实则已开“前七子”摹拟之论。强调诗人有“真情实意”,注重诗之法度、格调,艺术上有独创精神。东阳论诗,强调“诗与文不同体”,不能“以文为诗”,或“以诗为文”。他批评当时“以文章自命”的人,一写到诗,就不成其为诗,离诗的要求“毫厘千里”,并“终其身而不悟”。他重视诗的法度音调,认为“诗在六经中别是一教,盖六艺中之乐也.
