张皇等兄弟同杀，推问款承，律有正条，俱合至死。近闻士庶，颇有喧哗，矜其为父复仇，或言本罪冤滥。但国家设法，事在经久，盖以济人，期于止杀。各申为子之志，谁非徇孝之夫，展转相仇，相杀何限？咎繇作士，法在必行；曾参杀人，亦不可恕。不能加以刑戮，肆诸市朝。宜付河南府，告示决杀。
