不佞不懂诗，故买诗集往往不以其诗而以其人，犹搜集手迹之意耳。吕光晨不知为何人，因见卷首有钱振锽序盛称之，故从厂甸摊头买得，此则更是间接因钱君的关系，反正诗原是不懂，亦无耳食之嫌也。共读楼辑本《室名索引》不免尚多阙略，而留我相庵则已著录，可知此事亦有因缘，寒斋未有许多大家别集，却存此二册《诗草》，正是同样的实例也。
