自序
搜神志怪，噫吁诞哉！虽然，天地大矣，万物赜矣，恶乎有恶乎不有恶乎知恶乎不知仆鄙人也，羁栖之暇，辄敢操觚迫记所闻，亦妄言妄听耳．已则弗信，谓人信乎
脱稿于辛亥，灾梨于壬子。史公所谓“与耳食何异”者此也，遂取以名编。
