本书全一卷，吴德功纂辑。此为彰化在清同治十二年、光绪十二年及日据以后所采近三百人节孝妇女名册（内有二人于光绪十三年请旌、一人于十五年请旌），有传附列者约及百人。卷端，并有「节孝名称及报请理由」一则。书末，今另加一附录「台湾孝节录」，为日人鹰取田一郎于民国五年时所编。
