清游艺撰。艺字子六，号岱峰，福建建宁人。约在康熙年间，为解答有关天文、气象、地理等问题，参阅古今中外有关著作百余种，写成此书。分前、后二集。共述七十二个问题，比较全面地解释自然变化的一些道理，其中对风、雨、云、雷、电、露、霜、雾、虹等现象论述清晰，为介绍西方气象科学知识的早期著作之一。有书林大集堂刊本、《四库全书》本，及日本享保年间抄本。
