卷之二十七 蕃市志
晋江辖地虽滨海，不立蕃市，盖夷舶不到之区也。内惟蚶江、永宁、祥芝、深沪数处，或造小船，不过商渔贸易而已。其船上可通苏、浙，下可抵粤东。即台湾运载，亦用此船，未尝更造夷舶所售货物，台湾惟米、豆油、糖，运到蚶江，出入稽查系海防厅管理。苏、浙、粤东所载糖、物、棉花等货，往来皆由南门外海关查验，以防私贩私售，故未尝立蕃市之法云。
