唐莫休符撰。作者在广西西道任职 期间，博采桂林山水、寺庙、里宅、城亭、古迹、人物等 资料。退居后，粗录见闻为《桂林风土记》，成书于 唐昭宗光化二年(899年)。全书内容广泛，其中反映 了传说人物尧、舜与南方民族地区的密切关系、灵渠 对沟通中原与粤西关系的评议等，对研究古代南方 民族史有参考价值;谱民风、记土产的记述体裁，对 后世著述领域亦有积极影响。是研究广西地方史和 壮族史的早期重要文献资料之一，收入《丛书集成 初编》中。
