一卷。作者不详。旧载左圭 《百川学海》中,既无序、跋,也没有所作年月。是书仅三十二条,杂录砚之产地及其故实。中间载有欧阳修、苏轼、唐询、郑樵诸人之说。收录既不广博,也有一些错谬疏漏。如以端溪子石为在大石中生,是沿袭旧说,未加考证。又如许汉阳以碧玉为砚,其事出谷神子《博异记》,实际上是龙女之砚,不是汉阳之砚,这是作者征引之误。但有的记载也可见作者的真知灼见,可供后世检核古砚之用。现存《百川学海》本、《说郛》本、《四库全书》本等。
