第十一目教学之道。诵上诸目，可见当年理学家为学所重，亦即其施教之所重矣。学与教，皆有关人生之大全体，故言道，不言方。近人治学好言方法，依中国文字言，法亦术亦道，亦属大全体。故合道始可法，不学则无术，术亦道也。今人言技术言方法，则皆涵功利意，技巧意，而道义则可置不论。此则决非中国传统文化之宗旨所在。
