一篇。书论。唐代林蕴撰。林蕴,唐代元和(806—820年)年间人。字复梦,泉州蒲田(今福建泉州)人,蕴世通经,西川节度使韦皋辟推官,累迁礼部员外郎,出为邵州刺史。从卢肇授“拨镫法”,从此书日进。是篇首先提出“拨镫四字法”,依次为:推、拖、捻、拽,为四种运指之法。提出“用笔之力,不在于力;用于力,笔死矣”。强调笔力为点画形态体现出来的艺术上的“力”与物理学上的“力”不同的观点。有《书苑菁华》本、《历代书法论文选》本。
