明代插花名著。袁宏道撰。宏道(1568～1610)字中郎,号石公。明代文学家。湖广公安(今属湖北)人,万历进士,曾在地方及朝廷任官职,但无意于仕途,而将兴趣转移在插花艺术,根据其见闻与心得于1599年写成本书。分上下二卷。上卷有瓶花之宜、瓶花之忌、瓶花之法三目;下卷有12类。上述3目疑为高濂所作,而12类则为袁宏道所著无疑。全书论述的插花技艺分为花目、品第、器具、择水、宜称、屏俗、花祟、洗沐、使令、好事、清赏、监戒等目。本书对国内外插花艺术的发展有较大影响。
