画学论著。清松年著。一卷。其内容为论用笔用墨、用水用色、山水、工笔与写意、人物、花卉、师法临摹、品评赏鉴与杂论,书后附诗。强调以造化为师,认为“凡天地间奇峰幽壑,老树长林,一一皆从一心独运。虽千幅百尺,生趣滔滔。文章之境如此,而画境亦如此也。”书前有作者光绪二十三年(1897年)原序。《中国画论类编》以俞剑华于1925年从友人关松坪处借得原本付梓石印收录,《画论丛刊》据俞氏本收录。书后均有俞剑华于1925年所作跋。1984年内蒙古人民出版社出版关和璋注评《颐园论画》,书前有潘絜兹所作序言。
