《劫中得书记》乃郑振铎先生在抗战烽火劫难中搜求古书之记录，其间种种为之欢喜为之愁之行状，为灾难中的祖国保存文化薪火之情思，无不怦然动人。这是一幅真正的爱书人的绝美的自画像。抗战时期，郑振铎先生为保存民族文献，曾竭尽全力收购古籍善本，尤重小说、戏曲和有精美版画的稀见书籍。他每得一佳本，随作题记，叙述得书经过和对该书的评论。《劫中得书记》收录题记89则，《劫中得书续记》收录60则。
