宋代茶文。叶清臣撰,这不能算是一种茶书,只是一篇茶文。叶清臣,北宋名臣,苏州人。不仅是著述颇富的学者,还是甚有建树的经济学家。景祐三年(1036),他上请弛茶禁奏,提出了切实可行的办法,促成了嘉祐四年(1059)的茶法通商。其文篇名为《述煮茶泉品》,是关于品水鉴泉的文字。《说郛》收入时,作为一种茶书,这是不合体例的,又误题书名为《述煮茶小品》,应据作者自述:“凡《泉品》二十,列于右幅”而厘正。
