中国古代牛体鉴别学专著。《汉书·艺文志·形法类》中载有汉代《相六畜三十八卷》,其中有相牛经,但已全佚。《隋书·经籍志·五行类》载有《宁戚相牛经》二卷,《高堂隆相牛经》二卷,《王良相牛经》二卷。王良是西周时人,宁戚是春秋时人,高堂隆是汉代人。《旧唐书·经籍志》载《宁戚相牛经》是一卷,以上诸书均佚。《说郛》中收有《宁戚相牛经》,其内容与《齐民要术·养牛马驴骡》篇中的相牛的内容相同,显系摘录于《齐民要术》。清代黄绣谷在《相牛心镜要览》中指出“古之相牛经在晋代已亡佚”。
