清代程石邻撰。该书对鹌鹑的生理、好斗、养殖多有精到叙述。如说头：头如蟹壳阔还平，突似彪豺凹似鹰。若得坚固如弹子，定然临阵作将军。嘴：直紧如钳确是锥，三棱似玉世间稀。千嘴不如三嘴好，披毛带血始为奇。腿：长劲粗圆骨法全，要如葱白两条悬。玉指千筋须忌扁，胫雄掌天必争先。骨：骨重筋多最是强，一条腹骨硬还长。鸢肩龟背棱撑样，鹤立如山压四方。
