美人所居，如种花之槛插枝之瓶。沉香亭北，百宝栏中，自是天葩故居。儒生寒士，纵无金屋以贮，亦须为美人营一靓妆地。或高楼，或曲房，或别馆村庄。清楚一室，屏去一切俗物。中置精雅器具，及与闺房相宜书画。室外须有曲栏纡径，名花掩映。如无隙地，盆盎景玩，断不可少。盖美人是花真身，花是美人小影。解语索笑，情致两饶。不惟供目，兼以助妆。
