庐陵胡则颜名其所居堂曰颜乐，其志固望希于大贤君子之地乎！间求记于余。嗟乎，其可以易言哉！夫颜之乐，极其学之所至，心与道一，而于出处动静从容安适，无往而不得，斯其所为乐也，其可以易言乎？然颜之乐，虽乐其在己者，其心盖未尝一日而忘利民也。孟子称禹、稷、颜子同道，道在是，即心在是，得其心，而后可以言其乐也。
