一卷。明吴麟征(生卒年不详)撰。海盐 (今属浙江)人。天启二年 (1622)中进士。官至太常寺少卿,明亡殉难。此编皆为吴麟征居官时,寄训子弟之书。由其子吴蕃昌摘录其语,辑为一帙,故名 《要语》。吴蕃昌字仲木,儒学家刘宗周的门人。
