文字学书。明叶秉敬撰。2卷。秉敬字敬君,衢州西安(今浙江衢县)人。此书取字形相似而意义不同者分类训释,与郭忠恕的《佩觿》大旨略同。每字下缀以四言歌诀,是著者自创的体例。其说字以《说文》为依据,辨析甚细。于偏旁点画,分别了然。以韵语立训便于记诵。作者认为形似义别字犹如孪子,“眉目发肤虽无别,而伯仲先后弗淆”,因称。辨字本之《说文》。毫厘不爽,偏旁点画,分别了然。并概括成四字韵语,便于记忆,这是作者的创造。
