训诂书。宋陆佃撰。前有其子陆宰序,称其书原名《物性门类》,佃注《尔雅》(有《尔雅注》、《尔雅新义》)后,续撰此书,更名《埤雅》,取辅翼《尔雅》之意。今本20卷,分8类,包括《释鱼》2卷,计30章;《释兽》3卷,计44章;《释鸟》4卷,计60章;《释虫》2卷,计40章; 《释马》1卷,计15章;《释木》2卷,计31章;《释草》4卷,计64章;《释天》2卷,计13章;共297章。书之目录后注“后阙”二字,可见为未竟之作。宣和七年(1125)始刊于世。其后再刻于赣州。两版传世绝少。明末,林榆访于耆民黄维而重刊于崇祯十三年(1640)。今有《五雅》、《四库全书》等版本传世。
