又称《道德真经论兵要义述》、《道德经论兵要义》。唐代论述治国治兵之道的著作。王真撰。唐自“安史之乱”后，藩镇割据，刀兵不息，作者忧患于国家安危，惮思竭虑撰成此书，于元和四年(809)七月呈献朝廷。今有明正统《道藏》本、《宛委别藏》本多种存世。81章。该书从军事角度注释《老子》，强调治国治军要道、德、仁、义、礼兼用，统治者要戢兵去战，就要无为，不争。但要为止战而备兵，反对麻痹轻敌。在战略上，提倡以不欲求欲，以不为求为，应敌后起，常为客兵。该书基本上继承了《老子》的军事思想并有所发展，但其企图以文治而非武力消除战乱的迂腐思想，不仅无济于当时，对后世也有不良影响。
