南宋赵时庚撰。时庚,宋宗室,自称爱兰成癖。书作于绍定六年(1233)。全书五篇,分叙兰花容质、品兰高下、天下爱养、坚性封植、灌溉得宜。不仅记兰的各品种形色特点,还记品种和培护方法。是中国最早关于兰草的专著。首有绍定癸已(1233)作者自序,书大约成于此时。作者自少时即爱赏兰花,“艳丽之状,清香之幽,目不能舍,手不能释”,历时三十年,始成此书,可谓对兰花深有研究。内容分叙兰容质、品兰高下、天地爱养、坚性封植、灌溉得宜、奥法等六篇,后有嫩真子李子跋。《叙兰容质》一篇,评介诸名花,除叙述其名称由来、形状、颜色外,注重品评其审美风格。
