六卷。宋朱熹撰,明陈选注。陈选字士贤,临海人。天顺六年 (1340)进士。官至广东布政使。追赠光禄寺卿,谥恭愍。是书成于淳熙十四年(1187)。凡内篇四:曰《立教》、曰《明伦》、曰 《敬身》、曰 《稽古》; 外篇二: 曰《嘉言》、曰《善行》。书中叙古《蒙求》亦太多,兼难读,非启蒙之具。认为《古乐府》及杜甫《诗》可取;又有乙巳与子澄书,称《小学》见比修改,共定著六篇。淳熙十二年始改定义例,又越二年乃成。
