耒[lěi]耜[sì]经，我国现存最早的专论农具的著作。唐末陆龟蒙撰。作者曾隐居乡下,从事田间耕作,对农业生产颇为熟悉。约成书于唐广明元年(880年)前后。本书并序文在内,共六百三十三字。文章严谨,层次分明,条理清晰,述论有序,文笔古奥。序文中叙述了写作动机,是为了使后人不要忘掉在农业上发挥了重要作用的农具。正文开头首先解释了“耒耜”的含义即“犁”(这一说法,其它古文献中不多见)。接着就其整体到各部分的构造与功能,作详细正确叙述,附带谈了三件小农具。
