《十六汤品》是一本茶书,是点茶道的代表之作。对茶的煮法加以分析衍释成十六种,将口沸程度分成三种,注法缓急则分三种,茶器种类不同分为五种,依薪炭燃料亦可分为五种,共计十六汤品。其约作于唐末五代,至迟也应作于宋初,其对茶艺、茶道及茶文化史上有着不可或缺的价值。约成书于唐光化三年 (900),有明代喻政《茶书全集》本、清代陈世熙 《唐人说荟》本、清代陈梦雷《古今图书集成》本等。凡一卷,分十六品论述茶汤品质高低。
