【原文】
《蚕经》：白光向食；青光厚饲，皮皱为饥；黄光，以渐住食②。
【注释】
①三光：蚕体“三光”，是指蚕在一个眠期内，体色的规律性变化。可依照体色的变化，决定给桑的数量。
②以上内容见《饲养总论》一节所引《士农必用》本文和小字注。“体色变黄”为向眠期，故应逐渐停饲。
【译文】
《蚕经》：(起蚕)体色变白光为开食期；体色变青光为盛食期，皮肤有皱纹表示蚕饥饿；体色变黄光，应逐渐停饲。
