韵书。宋刘渊编。全称《壬子新刊礼部韵略》,是宋代淳祐壬子年(1252)由平水人刘渊刊刻的一部韵书。这部书把通行的汉字按韵母分为107类,即所谓107韵,专供人们写诗填词时查找押韵字之用,可以视为宋代《广韵》的简编本。几乎与刘渊同时,又有人把韵母归纳为106个,这种分韵在后代影响极大,已经成了诗词用韵的准则。所以,后人所说的“平水韵”或“诗韵”,实际上都是指106韵而言的。《古今韵会举要》(元人熊忠编)沿用了它的韵目。《平水韵》对明清诗韵产生深远的影响,其韵目为后人广泛使用。
