简称《摭言》。笔记。唐末五代王定保(870—940)撰。十五卷。定保,南昌人。光化进士,后仕南汉,官至中书侍郎同平章事。本书为记载唐代科举制度掌故专著,十五卷,分一百○三个子目,近十万余字。每条有论赞,所述典故,有选举志所未备者。大部分篇幅记载唐代科举制度及有关活动、遗闻轶事,所记颇为详备,为史志及他书所不及。唐代诗人零章断句为别集失载者,亦多赖以保存。宋计有功《唐诗纪事》从中多有取材。
