宋代笔记。2卷。陈长方著。陈长方字齐之，侯官(福建福州市)人。因奉母依其外祖家于步里，遂以名书。《宋史·艺文志》载“陈唯室《步里客谈》1卷”，唯室即长方之别号。此书久佚，《四库全书》馆臣从《永乐大典》辑得58条，分为2卷。书中多记北宋嘉祐以后名臣言行，于熙宁、元丰间事记述尤详。诗话文评亦多可采。如谓陈师道“李杜齐名吾岂敢，晚风无树不鸣蝉”，与黄庭坚“坐对真成被花恼，出门一笑大江横”，皆学杜甫《缚鸡行》，而陈为不类;又引王刚中语谓文字使人击节赏叹不如使人肃然起敬;又谓文章态度如风云变灭，水波成文，直因势而然，以议苏轼数拟《盘谷序》之非，皆有识见。有《四库全书》本，《守山阁丛书》本。
