《四库全书》采择的浙江苑懋柱家天一阁藏书,其名为《宋朝名画评》。绘画品评著作。三卷。北宋刘道醇撰。成书约在北宋元丰年间(1080年前后)。刘道醇,大梁(今河南开封)人。生平事迹无考。另著有《五代名画补遗》一卷。《圣朝名画评》,首有序文一篇。正文分六门:人物、山水林木、畜兽、花草翎毛、鬼神、屋木。每门之中,分神、妙、能三品。每品又各分上、中、下三等。共录北宋及五代画家九十余人,先分品,然后各系以传,传后加以评语
