一卷。明沈继孙撰。古法以松煤製墨，南唐李廷珪始兼用桐油，元、明以后多用油烟。此书专论油烟製墨法，自浸油至试墨之各道工序，叙说详明，有图示二十一幅。旧时论墨著述，皆言说松烟墨，是编乃油烟墨专著之嚆矢。叙次详核，条理整然，遂为近代墨坛所祖。继孙早岁为墨匠，惜无遗品可考，故其巧拙不甚了了。而是编所言，皆据实録，价值殊高。载明·洪武三十一年 (1398) 自序。原书已佚，现存本为清·乾隆时(1736—1795)自《永乐大典》中辑出。刊有《美术丛书》本。
