这是一篇附在《中华传世名著经典丛书》中的《孝经》后面的文献,其主要内容是: “天下重孝孝当先,一个孝字全家安。”“生前尽孝亲心悦,死后尽孝子心酸。孝经孝文把孝劝,孝父孝母孝祖先,为人能把祖先孝,这孝能使子孙贤,贤孝子孙钱难买,这孝买来不用钱。”“从来亲恩报当先,说起亲恩大如山,要知父母恩情大,听我从头说一番。”文献从十月怀胎说到结婚成家,父母对子女精心养育、培养成人。强调“父母恩情似海深,人生莫忘父母恩”,“父子原是骨肉亲,爹娘不敬敬何人·养育之恩不投报,望子成龙白费心”。这是中国封建时代宣传孝道的重要文献。
