子曰：“君子食无求饱，居无求安，敏于事而慎于言，就有道而正焉，可谓好学也已。”

孔子说：“在饮食方面来说，聪明而高尚的人绝不会暴饮暴食；在居住方面，也不会太奢求安逸。这样的人工作勤奋，但言谈谨慎。这样的人总是寻找品德优良、擅长学习的人为伴，并学习那些人的经验和榜样。以这种方式，他才有可能成为一个真正有学问的人。”
