宋张载(1020—1077)讲学记录。张载一生治学、讲学，在关中影响很大，与周敦颐、程颢、程颐、朱熹齐名，为宋理学四大派之一。书中涉及哲学、教育等多方面内容，对闻见之知，穷理尽性有重要论述。认为“人本无心，因物为心”。而“见物多，穷理多，如此可尽物之性。”“穷理即是学也，所观所求皆学也”。对教学方法，修养方法也多有论述。单行本有《横渠语录》，收入《四部丛刊续编》。与张载其他著作并编于《张子丛书》，有《国学基本丛书》本。1978年中华书局整理出版的《张载集》收录较完整。
