余与陈子远公同里而神交，偶得是编，读之叹为神奇，故亟梓以济世。远公淹贯经史，才思泉涌，论议数千言，娓娓不穷。盖是编原期救人，而非即乎采藻，窃恐以词害志，故略有所删改，要使雅俗一览了然。至定方用药之间，总不敢增减一字，知我当不罪我也。（以谋谨识。）
