太上老君说上七灭罪集福妙经，撰人不详。似出于唐代。一卷，收入《正统道藏》太清部。经文仅千余字，乃太上老君宣讲道法。谓世间万民不信三宝，背正信邪。每到上七之日，有斗口使者抄录其善恶，上奏天曹，减尅寿算。老君遂派遣北斗七真为灭罪消灾兴福助善天尊，并说《上七妙经》。令善男善女每月上七之日修建章醮，供养烧香，念诵此经。如无力修奉，可以酎水献花，对北斗稽首礼拜，念诵北斗十大天尊及本命真君名号。如此则可消灾忏罪，请福延生。如不信者则有天，神夺其寿算，转生为禽兽，永失人身。
