阴符天机经，原不题撰人，盖为唐人所作。《通志•艺文略》着录《阴符天机经》一卷，即是书。今本收入《云笈七签》卷十五，又载《正统道藏》太清部。篇首叙文称：「圣人将欲施为，必先观天道之盈虚，后执而行之，举事应机，则无遗策。」是为全篇要旨。正文分十九节，诠释《阴符经》名词经义。谓圣人洽国用兵处世，皆应以心统物，细察天人之兆，把握进退之时，顺从阴阳相胜、刚柔变化之道，以立于不败之地。书中颇引《易传》、《老子》及孔明、太公注《阴符》之语，文字简明流畅、条理清晰。
