三卷。旧本题玉简 (生卒年不详)撰。玉简,一说王简,因玉王字形相似无法确定。据书中所记内容,推知玉简当为宋人,其余不详。据其序称,因不敢以神仙为名,所以才名曰 《疑仙传》。书中记录唐开元以后二十二人之事。其书语句拖沓冗长,粗俗拙陋,有的根本不成文。所以 《四库提要》称其“殆粗知字义者所为,虽宋人旧本,无足采录也”。并据兵部侍郎纪昀家藏本,著录于道家类存目。现存 《宝颜堂秘笈》(题王简撰)本、《道藏精华录》(题隐夫玉简撰》本。
